All About Us

Carry the Light Ministries is dedicated to obedience to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, that we are to "Go . . . make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you" Matthew 28:19-20. We desire to share the Good News of Jesus, and to "become all things to all people" . . . that we "might save some" 1 Corinthians 9:22 with the people, tools, and means by which God makes available to us. We are called to serve, and should not seek to be served. Carry the Light Ministry Partners along with our Contributing Partners follow the words of Jesus to be salt and light to the world. We all know and agree that “the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” It is indeed a sobering reminder to us, but we must not worry. We’re told to “pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers in His harvest” Matthew 9:37-38. Would you like to join us and make a lasting impact for God’s kingdom? Would you like to become a contributing writer or editor with our Editorial Team? If you have a heart for sharing the gospel and wish to serve as a prayer warrior, correspondent, or contributor, please let us know. Please view our Privacy Policy in your consideration. Your obedience and trust in the leading of the Spirit will demonstrate how God can use you to reach hurting people around the world at such a time as this. We are God’s hands and feet, and we follow in the steps of our Good Shepherd, Jesus of Nazareth who said, “whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do . . . Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified . . . If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it” John 14:12-14

What We Do

We obey The Great Commission as commanded by Jesus to His disciples before He left this world, and along with our Executive Committee and Board of Directors, we want to demonstrate the love of God for His people by continuing the earthly ministry that was started centuries ago by Jesus of Nazareth.

We Disciple – “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” Matthew 28:19a.

  • A journey with a destination – Maturity

  • A purposeful path that is Relational

  • A dedicated walk that requires Discipline

  • A matured and disciplined life that is Replicable

We Evangelize – “baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit” Matthew 28:19b.

Then Moses said to God, “If I come to the people . . . and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they ask me, “what is his name?” ‘what shall I say to them?” God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM . . . I AM has sent me to you . . . This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations” Exodus 3:13-15.

We Teach – “teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” Matthew 28:20a.

“Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.” 2 Timothy 2:23-26.

We Pray – “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” Matthew 28:20b.

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans” John 14:16-18.

We Do Life Together – “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing” 1 Thessalonians 5:11.

“that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one. I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me” John 17:21-23.
