P.U.S.H.

P.U.S.H.

Have you stopped praying for unsaved friends, neighbors, and loved ones because your prayers seem to go unanswered?  Are you considering quitting on the Lord in some area of your life because you have prayed and prayed for God to help you but all you seem to get from God is His silence?

In Genesis 32:22-30, Jacob, who has been away from his homeland for 20 years, is now returning home. One night, he finds himself alone, and in his solitude he encounters God.  They wrestled all night until morning, and then the Lord said, “Let me go.” Imagine Jacob (whose name means “grabber”) tightly grabbing onto the Lord, and saying, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” What an incredible lesson on the power of persistent, tenacious praying!  Have you ever grabbed onto God begging and saying, “I’m not going to quit praying until you answer me?”

Beloved, the Word of God charges us to pray through for the breakouts and the breakthroughs.  To push… that’s P.U.S.H … to Pray Until Something Happens.

Consumed with worry and anxiety?  P.U.S.H!  Grieving the loss of a friendship?  P.U.S.H!  Afraid and uncertain of the future?  P.U.S.H!  Illness and disability leaving you alone and depressed?  P.U.S.H!  Working two jobs to provide for your family, life seems to be getting harder, don’t give up, P.U.S.H!  Been lied to and talked about, P.U.S.H!  No devil in hell can keep us from what God has for us, the more he tries, the more we’ll P.U.S.H!  The more hell that comes our way, the more we’ll P.U.S.H!

Beloved, get back on your knees and get back to sending those “knee” mails full of requests, supplications, praises, confessions, thanksgivings, and worship!  Like Jacob, refuse to let go of God until He answers. Grab onto God in prayer and P.U.S.H! Pray Until Something Happens!
