O, WHAT A SAVIOR! - Jesus: The Faithful Witness
Banished to the penal colony on the Island of Patmos for his faithful testimony in Jesus, John, the aged Apostle, in Revelation Chapter 1, hears the thundering voice of Jesus commanding him to write down what was soon to take place on the stage of world events. The orchestrator and director are none other than Jesus, himself! In Revelation 1:5, John describes Jesus as “…the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood.”
John was tasked to tell the churches what was going to happen in the future and how this should affect the way they live in the meantime. The thrust of his message: No matter what you are going through in life, you can trust in Jesus! As “the Faithful Witness,” He is the embodiment of absolute truthfulness and integrity, the One who completely and perfectly communicates God’s truth to humanity. Trust His guidance! Stand firmly on His promises! They are certain, and they are reliable! No matter what you may have ever said or done in life, because of Jesus, “the Faithful Witness,” there are no circumstances that can negate the operation of the Word of God in your life. Praise the Lord!
Beloved, because of Jesus, “the Faithful Witness,” He is worthy of your trust. Not some of it, not part of it, not most of it, but all of it! He knows your sins. He knows your pain and hurts. He knows your needs. He can handle your problems better than you can! The stage is set, His return is imminent, and time is running out. Repent and trust His sacrifice on the cross for your sins. Believe in Him by aligning your life with His truth and striving to emulate His integrity. By trusting in Him, “the Faithful Witness,” you can navigate life with confidence, knowing He will never fail you. Jesus: You Can Trust in Him!
