Dry Ground
Dry Ground
Have you ever asked yourself, “Is God really powerful enough to handle the problems and complexities of my life?
In Joshua 3:15-17 God dries up the Jordan River so the Israelites could cross over to the Promised Land on dry ground. In fact, a further study of Joshua 3 reveals that the Jordan River was actually dry up to 16 miles in totality. Wow! Now, imagine you are an Israelite walking across the Jordan River on dry ground, but off to your right, way off in the distance, is a huge wall of water that just stays there, held back by the omnipotent hand of Almighty God! Beloved, the Israelites saw firsthand the awesome power of God at work in their problems and complexities in life, and you can, too, by believing in God and trusting in His salvation!
· Are the currents of life grabbing and tugging at you, ready to drown you? SALVATION IS OF THE LORD!
· Are financial hardships, like rising flood waters, trying to pull you under? SALVATION IS OF THE LORD!
· Are relentless health struggles growing larger and larger like waves ready to pound you into submission? SALVATION IS OF THE LORD!
Whatever the hardships that may be flooding into your life, God is able to set your feet on dry ground and help you to cross over to His Promised Land of blessing. Acts 4:12 reminds us, “… for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Beloved, today, get your feet on dry ground by placing your faith in Jesus Christ and the problems and complexities of your life. They will never drown you, they will never pull you under, and they will never pound you into submission! SALVATION IS OF THE LORD!
