Mighty Men of Valor

Revelation 1:3 says, “Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.” 

The Apostle John stresses the importance of faithful living when he says, “read” God’s word, “hear” God’s word, “keep” God’s word.  Why is this so important?  Because Jesus’s return is “near,” he says.  The word for “near” in the Greek means “to squeeze” or “to throttle” and refers to the imminency of the events John is writing about in the book of Revelation.  Beloved, God is throttling or revving up the engine!  He’s about to put the pedal to the metal!  The return of Jesus Christ for His church is imminent; it could happen at any moment!  Praise the Lord! 

That being said, Mighty Men of Valor, WHERE ARE YOU?   

• Ezekiel 22:30, God sought for a man to stand in the gap, but He couldn’t find one.

• In Isaiah 59:16, God sought for a man who could pray, who could intercede, but He couldn’t find one.

• In Hosea 7:7, God sought for a man to call upon the Lord, but He couldn’t find one.

• And in Psalm 14:2, God sought for a man who had a heart to seek the presence of the Lord, but He couldn’t find one.

God is looking for a few good men!  God is looking for praying men!  God is looking for men committed to reading His word, to hearing His word, and in keeping His word, men who are determined to lead their families in the ways of the Lord, men who are morally upright, men who are not ashamed to stand up and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ!  God is looking for bible packing, scripture cracking, Holy Ghost filled, praise dancing men of God! 

Mighty Men of Valor, WHERE ARE YOU?  Men of faith, RISE UP!  The time is short; the time is NOW!
